The Nelson Maths series features one Student Book and one Teacher's Resource Book for each year level. The program is based on 40 units of work per year level. Each unit of work provides more activities than could be taught in one teaching week.
Nelson Maths provides a daily mathematical framework in which teachers employ a whole class - small group - whole class approach. This enables children to work at a learning level appropriate to their mathematical needs.
