Fast Forward texts are finely graded from Level 6 to 25. The books feature subtle level indicators on the spine and below the barcode.

The levelling system is built from and complements the PM levelling system, but includes features, informed by extensive scientific research, that are specifically relevant to older readers.

The texts feature a new word ratio of 1:16 and text constructions that are highly supportive of readers.
